Hey guys,

Just a quick question about booking AA flights using an address in the USA.

Got a trip to the USA coming up in August/September next year and I want to book some internal flights using AA.

The flights seem to be cheaper when using the AA US site, so I was wondering if I'm able to use either the address of the hotel where we will be staying in LA or we have friends in Miami and could use there address.

Anyone done this, had experience with it?

Thanks in advance!

oz that will work fine - I have used Flamingo Hotel address in Las Vegas to book AA flts on aa.com and it worked a treat.

It's not necessary to put in a US address at all. You can put an Australian address, on the US site. Just omit the postcode and state otherwise it'll fail.

Exactly. Just leave the postcode blank and your Oz address is fine, Oz :)

This. Or alternatively, you could try putting a '0' in front of your Australian postcode and leave your state in -- I've been doing this for the past two years when buying with my Aussie CC. :)

If you put in an 0 before your postcode just make sure it is valid in the US.For example my postcode here is 4551.Putting 0 before it is 04551 and is a valid zip for a village in Maine.Just google US postcodes to see if yours is valid.
I have been buying flights and redeeming awards on aa.com for the last 2 years using my own address and my Aussie CC without problems.
