Hello

I've booked a J fare on Singapore Airlines using Velocity Points on the Virgin Australia booking system. The auto-generated email gave me both a VA and SQ PNR. I've used the SQ PNR on the Singapore Airlines app to successfully select my seat, however, attempting to use the SQ PNR on the Singapore Airlines website I get a message:
Your ticket was issued by our partner airline. To manage your booking, get in touch with the relevant airline or return to the source of your booking.
I am trying to login to access the Book the Cook feature. Has anyone had success with this feature or am I ineligible?

How you booked the flight shouldn't influence what services you are or are not eligible for. You might need to ring them to choose your meals.

The list of meals is available at the book the cook part of SQ site. Use that to decide then you will need to call

Yep, phone. As a J pax, I thought they were very nice and attentive on the phone, no matter who I booked with.

Reviving this thread as I have a question that vaguely relates.

I have a similar situation, booked a J class fair with SA via VA to HCM via Singapore.

I was wondering if there were meal restrictions with 'book the cook' depending on the time of day - for example my flight from Singapore to HCM departs at 9.30am - can I still book the Lobster or cantonese duck? Or is it only for dinner/lunch?

If you log in and it's available for selection, then it's a available for your flight regardless of time.

:)
