(but I live in an area where Australia Post are stupendously unreliable. Might be time for another complaint on that. Usually fixes things for a month or so....)

Received my pack yesterday. It's all very nice, but really, what's the point? I can't image it was a cheap exercise sending out all these postcards. I don't get it...

Nine rolled over al 10 Aug and it took about a week to move out of pending status......no renewal card yet though but I'd expect it in the next week or so.

As you only receive the BNE-DRW direct SC's, even if you go via SYD, and the flexi price is the same whether direct or not, will a single upgrade cover BNE-xSYD-DRW, or only one of the legs?

Thanks Jama, the direct flights are not at the best times, so I think I would be better off doing 6 hours flying time and arriving at 2pm rather than 4 hours flying time and arriving at midnight.

Got the packet from DJ today. Ironically I did pay a flexi ticket out of our own pocket late last year. Would have been nice (but not essential) to have the offer back then. I don't think I will use it though, and hopefully no last minute flight requirements.

Well, I got mine as well yesterday and very impressed. Nice cards and never a bad thing to reinforce the brand and benefits to your clients.

I think I saw a pack at home in Sydney on the weekend but have not bothered to open it.

Am I missing out on anything or is this something that can wait to get opened in 10 years time during the next clean up trying to make some extra space in my bedroom?

I finally picked up my mail today and mine was in there but not Mr Mella's...not sure why, we have the same address! However his is also showing in his account, so that's fine.
I have wanted to upgrade from MEL to coughet for a few months but everytime I ring there is no availability (booked on a flexi fare)...they say there's nothing available on either leg (but to keep checking closer to the time)
Failing that, not sure what I'll use it on...I think it's a huge waste for short trips and have no work trips apart from 1 hour flight destinations planned

Not sure it is available for INT flights, thought it was just DOM (but not sure).

Was advised by CS that DPS and HKT don't usually release availability for upgrade redemption fares. That being said, J was 7/8 and full J fares are $1k+ so quite impressed there...

Pretty sure TT have upgrades though (but who would want to PE!)

I thought the pack sent out with the letter explaining the upgrade was quite well done.

Agree they are really getting their feet out of the LCC toolbox so to sPeak. Their best find was JB.
