Just come across this old BOAC coat hanger in the ironing pile at home :D British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) was the British state-owned national airline created in 1939 by the merger of Imperial Airways and British Airways Ltd. It continued operating overseas services throughout World War II (Wikipedia)

My grandmother had a vinyl BOAC bag, was sort of a sports bag (cylindrical shape) in white with blue BOAC lettering and that flying bird logo they had. I remember 'cos she kept a few board games in it.

Just now I was trying to Google something similar to what I remember, and there are a bunch of "retro" bags available with similar logos etc, on sites called things like bondstyle.com ... 🙃
