Them's fightn' words BVT. 

I will bring a fluoro highlighter pen with me. 

HaHa

Different colour for each member of the party, surely?

Fighting words perhaps, but nonetheless true, I suspect.

Thanks for the update, ozbeachbabe.

It is a crock that restaurants "cannot" do separate bills, I think it is more that they can't be bothered! Especially if advised in advance. Grrrr.

We can all claim to be individual/couple diners but are happy to share a table and then make separate orders and pay separately :).

Sometimes, I think groups of people should do that just to teach the restaurants a lesson. It's a stupid and, I think, unenforceable rule.

Yes 12 noon at Goerge's Paragon Restaurant, level 1, 45 Eagle St, Brisbane.

Do you have checked bags you have to store?

If you need to purchase a Translink travel card you can purchase them from the ticket office on the pkatform at both domestic or international railway stations or from the airtrain desk in the international terminal in the am only.

You can always take the free orange TBus to Skygate/DFO, store your bags in a locker then get the 590 bus to the Toombul interchange then cross Sandgate Road to Toombul railway station & take the train to Central Station.

What time did you get to the airport dfcatch? You wouldn't have had much lounge time I'm guessing.

Great to catch up with everyone.

Had enough time for a quick drink in the lounge :)

Thanks to Storyteller for the ride to he airport too!!

Thanks everyone for a great lunch, and for ensuring Brisbane was a civilized temperature by lunchtime.

The car seems to know its way to the airport. Relies on the passenger remembering which airline they are flying though... ;). IIRC Dfcatch de-carred at 1627, so ample time for a lounge visit for the motivated.

And yes, adding my thanks for the company. My food was delicious too, grilled octopus & a glass of cider. Just perfect for a winter afternoon surrounded by water views & with paintings of Greek fishing villages & traditional scenes. Not sure how long their half price on entrees & mains is on for, but it has me plotting to try to get back to George's Seafoods again :D Good choice there Ozbeachbabe.

Mr_Orange has a tough act to follow for another Saturday lunch or linner (that meal between lunch & dinner ) ;)

AFAIK, the half price lunch deal is permanent.

Oh no, the pressure is on.

I think the half price thing is standard for lunches & IIRC I saw a sign on the way out saying it applied for early dinners if you were seated between 1730-1830.

Handy for a pre-theatre supper as you can jump on the ferry around to QPAC at Southbank afterwards.

We used to drop in at Georges at Sancturay Cove for half priced luch on the way back to BNE in the later 90's ...

Haha - well I was on Autopilot when I answered QF

With 3 out of 4 flights this weekend on QF, I'm claiming a fair excuse for forgetting I was flying VA .

At least I didn't try and board the wrong flight
