The bottle I took with me won't last 2 months, actually I prefer the whites that Qantas offered, will have to check which ones they were.

2 months? Don't you mean 2 hours? I thought you had it in the car on the way home? :p

anat0l, I will shout you a bottle of Bollinger in the F Lounge on December 22 :p

(I can afford that I think o_O)

Flights booked. :)

Is the Hilton the preferred place to be? I have no HH status, so I would need to be guested if we used the exec lounge.

I would ask Trippin_the_rift to book the hotel room for you, Hilton is the best location, we can't have him losing his Hilton Diamond status.

Just don't go to bed the night before and head straight to the airport. Saves on hotel costs.

The number of times I've heard that before...

Tried it, doesn't work.

They were the Wolf Blass Gold Label Sparkling 2007 & Flametree Margaret River Chardonnay 2011.

I was traveling in style, so no way could I open a bottle of red on the drive back to Brisbane.

I gave trippin_the_rift a cup for you to drink it on the way, I wonder how he managed to lose it ;)

I thought he lived in a Hilton?

Trying to sort a trip to Brisbane but that maybe a bit late. :(

I had a quick visit to the city on Tuesday night to find a suitable location for AFF Brisbane Christmas drinks and dinner.

I have made a booking for 15 of us (subject to additions or subtractions for dinner at 7:00pm.

Pig N Whistle Pub
website
Riverside Centre, 123 Eagle Street
Brisbane QLD 4001

Google Maps 450 metres and 7 minutes walking from the Hilton.

There are a couple of different drinking areas, two outside and a few different places inside.

I was planning to get there about 5:30pm and have dinner booked for 7:00pm.

Menu, maybe I didn't get enough English food while I was over in the UK in November so I thought to get some more.

A few weeks ago there are a review of different drinking places in Brisbane and Pig 'N Whistle came in at number 10.
