BKK immigration warnings

I've been through KUL immigration more times than you've had cold lunches.

How do you know?

I've been through KUL several times recently, and while the non-egate queue has been "horrendous". the egates have been moving along nicely, with a less than 5 minute wait.

I believe @trippin_the_rift has lived in Kuala Lumpur since before COVID.

Given their current business, airline status and other employment history that I am aware of, I have no doubt as to the level of their with experience Malay immigration.

Manila T1 is better than BKK, the latter being the longest ever waits I have experienced. I haven't been inbound at even busier Manila T3 for a while.

Surprisingly in TPE we had a wait of about 45 minutes last year.

The common denominator for waiting times seems that there are vacant desks (assuming one's passport is not eligible for an E-gate if the latter exist.)

I went to Bangkok in mid-July on Cathay Pacific, 11am arrival.
Wait time at Immigration is about 30 minutes.
I was wondering whether going to coughet would have reduced waiting time, or may have to pay A$73 for a meet and greet service at BKK.

There was about a 30-minute wait for the regular queue when I arrived in BKK this week. However, I was able to access the fast-track lane on the right hand side by showing a business class boarding pass for the arriving flight. Waited about 5 minutes in that line.

Which is strange given Loyalty Lobby is full of - current and ongoing - reports that the priority line for business class no longer exists!!
