New moving walkway between Main (JAL F) and Satellite (QF lounge) Buildings @ NRT

I used Google to translate the source material and it says:

"...New walkway connecting the satellite facility of separate building and a second passenger terminal at Narita Airport main building was completed and published in the press on the 20th.
Customer satellite had moved in contact shuttle far, inconvenience of waiting time and long have been pointed out. Moving walkway is also installed in the passage,-service start the 27th.Shuttle is deprecated.
According to the Narita International Airport Company,
the total length of the passage is about 220 meters, you can move in about two minutes if I use the moving walkway. It is divided into arrival for guests to the main building and starting the customer towards the satellite.
Glass large windows are arranged on both sides of the passage, and gave a feeling of opening by reducing the window frames and pillars. I can look up close also aircraft traffic the tarmac.
While the number of flights landing at Narita Airport, the more it started construction in March last year and trying to concatenate to the smooth movement of passengers. [Co]...."

Re: New moving walkway between Main (JAL F) and Satellite (QF lounge) Buildings @ NRT

I am fundamentally lazy and found the passage with the moving walkway far quicker and easier than the old shuttle.

Also as stated in one of Serfty's post never forgot the JAL Satellite lounge closes at 7.00pm - I made the rookie mistake of heading down there as it was closer to the gate and when I was turfed out at 7 the Qantas lounge was full.

What's the option when train is not running ?

Moving walkway ?

Or just walking ?

In that case (walking), how long would that be between JAL F Lounge (main building) and QF22 gate (satellite building) ?

Also, QF check in is 3-4 hrs before departure like SYD ? Or earlier ?

Thanks in advance !

There is a departure walking corridor on the north side of the old shuttle track and a separate arrivals walking corridor on the south side. It is a reasonable walk, however there are multiple moving walkways which do make it easier (although not as easy as the old shuttle). Be aware though that they operate in only one direction, so if you do head the the satellite terminals or QP, make sure you don't want to head back to the main building unless you like to walk!

Arrival lounge to use at Narita for QF21

Friends

Slightly tangential to the original thread but I don't want to create another (short) thread either. Apologies.

Is there any arrival lounge for QF21 status / J pax at all ?

My research showed there is one such lounge but it is only for ANA J/F and/or ANA status pax - see here and here.

It seems pretty a closed case to me.

Am I missing something that some of you may know of ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Arrival lounge to use at Narita for QF21

I think that there is also a CX lounge there at NRT as well, from what I can remember, it was not much better than the AC's in the USA and they only call CX flights. In other words, don't even bother to check out the CX lounge at NRT.

20 min from check-in opening to sitting in the JAL F lounge (3F, main building)

Here's the curry some of you had mentioned. I thought it was better than average.
