Curious as to what others perceive as being the best hotel for facilities/value for money in each state/territory for corporate travellers limited to a corporate rate of $220 a night or less - here is my two cents worth:

ACT - Crowne Plaza (formely Parkroyal - and formly named by me as a holiday inn preedit)
NSW - Quay West
NT - Skycity
QLD - Quay West/Sheraton (tie)
SA - Embassy
TAS - Sommerset on the pier
WA - Intercontinental Burswood
VIC - Stamford Plaza

Asia -
Best Corporate Hotel - Les Suites Taipei - what an oasis in a city not known for good hotels!

Just a small clarification, the hotel that was formerly the Capital Parkroyal is now the Crowne Plaza Canberra, not the Holiday Inn. Same chain, different brand.

and you'll have to change the Sheraton Brisbane to read Sofitel soon, given that the Sheraton ran 4th in the tender for the accommodation contract recently.

I will leave it as the Sheraton as they were the ones who recognised my 150 nights a year worth of business across the chain and often gave me the royal suite in Bris when the wife was with me (big bonus points from the boss - let me tell you), it is surprising how some SPG properties paid no attention to your status so I will miss the property being managed by Sheraton, much like I miss the Westin in Singapore for the same reasons ( fantastic rooms in the penthouse levels).

Melbourne: Quay West Suites.
Brisbane: Hilton
