Virgin Australia has announced the launch of its first-ever international route out of Canberra, with direct flights to Bali.
It is the only Australia-based airline operating internationally out of Canberra.

The new Canberra to Bali route will commence from June 22 this year and will operate three return flights per week, with the potential of more flights during peak travel periods.
Should have moved on MCY earlier, and I think TSV might still be an option, CBR struggled with Batik. They will have the ability to push large amounts of connecting traffic through though.

Definitely didn't see this one coming, but with the start date towards the end of the 25/26 financial year, I wonder if Virgin are expecting a small if not moderate fleet growth for 26/27.

Will probably just use one of the two aircraft that would sit idle overnight at CBR, only really costing an afternoon in utilisation.

The route will not operate in Feb or March.

What chief Minister? Who's flying it? Link?
