Batik Air flew below minimum descent altitude into Canberra

Batik Air seemed to have a problem with keeping their flight at a safe altitude. Due to their association with Lion Air I have never been inclined to fly them.

The inaugural Batik Air flight from Bali to Canberra earlier this month is being investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, which said the plane travelled "below minimum altitude".

More likely an issue with their lack of awareness re CTAF procedures, the controller could have done better (comments made as an ex ATC that never had to deal with CTAFs)
