Bangkok transits - hotels and rail

Likewise stayed there in December (20th?). I was only there for 6 hours but it seemed fine and would stay there again.
I have now stayed at 4 hotels in Ladkrabang. Never an issue. Rooms are basic but serve their purpose of an overnight transit especially if wanting to avoid going into BKK and coming back to airport. Free shuttle to/from airport.

I have another trip coming up end next month. Will more than likely stay in Ladkrabang the night and then taxi to Pattaya in morning to avoid the midnight taxi ride down.
