You have to be happy about that!JohnK said:I was expecting the golf travel bag to be repaired but to my surprise I received a brand new one, unopened and still in the box, from QF.

Yes. Dropped from a height a few times and they could be damaged.NM said:What about my steel/cane clubs? Would they be considered fragile?
QF offered to courier both bags to Mascot and then also couriered them back to me, free of charge, when the repair shop returned them to baggage services at Airport and not to me.vt01 said:But in my case I had to take it to a luggage shop in Mascot to get it repaired.
I was told any damage needs to be reported within 7 days from day of flight.vt01 said:It's nice to know that you can report the damage a few days later and still get it repaired..
Could not wish for better service. Most people on AFF like to criticise QF but in my experience their customer service is excellent.vt01 said:You have to be happy about that!
LOL. Not advisable. I have seen someone use a golf club (4 iron) for ~6 months that was modified by a tree. Same person used a putter for a few years that was modified by a different tree. Hard to believe but his golf game did not improve during this time.duffshot said:Has anyone tried baggage handler modified clubs and seen an improvement? I'm thinking of backing over them myself on Saturday if my recent golf form continues....
Sounds like his choice of gardening implements is a bit dodgy too.JohnK said:LOL. Not advisable. I have seen someone use a golf club (4 iron) for ~6 months that was modified by a tree.
