OK, what's your answer? Maybe some punctuation would help. I would answer 'B'.
Punctuation would certainly help. I tend to agree with B.

For A to be correct, it is not just punctuation, as eights should be plural.
C can be ruled out for the same reason/ The one being present doesn't really amount to much difference, given the question doesn't preclude other numbers being present as well
If punctuation were present to clarify that the requirement was a four, an eight and a single nine, then actually both B and D meet that criteria. Given there is presumably only one correct answer, that tends to indicate the four eight and a single nine is not the requirement,
This then only really leaves the interpretation that all four of the digits need to be present - meaning B is the answer.

The question suggests 2 possible answers

Four 8 and one nine - meaning there are x4 "8" and x1 "9"
This makes A and C right but A and C cannot be right at the same time

The other possibility is the literal word for word meaning:
4,8,1,9
Only C is correct.

I just had to share this scene which I came across while playing GeoGuesser.
I thought google maps edited people out, or at least blurred them!
For the curious, it is near a town called Harreveld in The Netherlands.

I had posted this separately because I couldn't find this thread, but this is where it belongs, so I have moved it.

Curious choice to plassen by the street light and not the van. Maybe he is picking blackberries.
