Hi there. Am off to Europe for several months next year and using budget airlines several times. Means my carryon bag needs to be 55cmx40cmx20cm max (strictly). Im looking for the ideal carryon that has wheels and would be decent for my laptop and tech. I hoped some of y'all might have some suggestions - am struggling after a fair amount of online searching. the 20cm deep seems to be a showstopper for most bags. All suggestions welcome, ideally ones I can buy in Australia reasonably. Thanks, Steve

I always found that a squishy backpack is far better at fitting in the metal cage. It doesn't have wheels, but those wheels (and I assume a handle) are going to eat into your 7kg or 10kg allowance. Perhaps you could get one of those fold up trolleys if you are unwilling/able to carry the weight?

Easy jet have a one bag limit, but it doesn't have a weight limit (for carry on).

i was searching for bags a while ago... found petersofkensington (.com)... seems to have a large range (and applicable dimensions). just watch out about the wheels if you're considering a spinner case (four wheels)... a lot of sites (including the manufacturers') don't always include the wheels in the overall measurements. I don't know why they don't... it can add an extra half to one inch which then takes it outside the overhead bin size (for wheels first positioning).

Peters is a good suggestions - had forgotten them... thanks a lot... all other ideas welcome. inc. for specific bags.
