BA reward flight on QF metal - will it count as an 'eligible' flight for tier status?

I'm flying F on a Qantas flight booked with BA avios points.

I know this wont earn QFF or tier points. Will this count towards the '4 eligible flights on Qantas' for tier advancement eg silver->gold etc?

No.

As this flight will not earn any points or status credits, it does not count as an Eligible Flight Segment for the purposes of Qantas status retention (the 4 ~s).

Basically, it needs to earn points and status credits under the QFF programme and it must be marketed by Qantas, QantasLink or a Jetstar Airline to be eligible for a ~.

No. Doubt it. Reward flights on points do not count for status.

Except for QF ASA booked using QF points.

That's because the ASA earns points, so it counts.

The flight must earn to "count".

As other AFFers have already advised, this flight is not eligible as per the terms and conditions outlined in this link: Frequent Flyer - About the Program - Terms & Conditions.
