Had the pleasure of spending sometime in the T 5 Galleries Lounge at LHR. Very nice, great food with a much better selection than I remember from last time in the UK plenty to drink and good showers, and no issue getting in.

Amsterdam was very different by contrast. Small, cramped (would hate to see it on a busy day) and no showers. Guy at the door was very helpful though, got my onward boarding passes sorted out for us as the transfer desk was still closed at 7am in the morning. He also let a couple of fellow Aussie QFF's in, who weren't travelling onward, to grab a coffee and use the free wifi, before they went to collect their hire car.

Next week get to check out Manchester and Gatwick, here's hoping they have been upgraded to the standard of T5.

Most of the EU BA lounges are pretty average. I did like Gatwick's F lounge, but didn't visit the J lounge.
