BA cuts redemption rates on QR

Not sure how the reduced miles is going to work
Currently BAEC has 4 charts for flights of varying distance: BA, IB, EI and others
The 70K quoted for BOS-DOH and LAX-DOH is cheaper than BAs own off-peak mileage for that distance which seems odd.
Seems unlikely that BA will go zone-based or give preferential to QR so maybe it's a glitch

Yep plenty of 2 x J available ex-Aus at the moment. Not convinced that arrangement will last long though.

Was looking at ways of earning Avios outside flying
Amex to Marriott doesn't seem viable (3MR to 2MB; 3 MB to 1 BA or QR) even with a transfer bonus
Would be good if Amex (or another card) could offer QR as a partner

On the Aus domestic flying side, crediting to BA gets round the problem of QR not earning

Yep, I’ve only just started down the BAEC path and have been crediting all QF Dom flights over to it. I honestly don’t know if it will work out better in the long run but I just got sick and tired of being punished by QF for using other OW carriers ex Australia in particular MH and the pathetic earn.
