This weekend I have flown on a number of sectors on BA, both domestic and European.
On each occasion, "small" electronic devices such as tablets, e-readers, and smartphones, were allowed for use on takeoff and landing, provided that they were in flight mode. However, "large" electronic devices, such as laptops, still had to be off. They also specifically mentioned that the pre-flight safety video had not been altered to reflect these changes.
Can't wait for CASA / airlines to allow the same for Australian flights ...
