They will move towards a EuroBusiness / Extra Leg Room model (middle Y seat blocked) in the first few rows for those already booked on Domestic/Short Haul Int J. Cabin services on Domestic/Short Haul Int will be largely BoB with bundled packages similar to the likes of Scoot and Jetstar.

Avianca's surviving Long Haul routes to Europe will be their only network that will provide a proper J.

Doesn’t LAN mostly offer Premium Economy for its internal Sth America flights? Or did it keep a seperate J cabin as well?

If so, this would seem like AV following the model of its main competitor, although I’m sure one or t’other will maintain points of difference.

Also not that surprising seeing as AV entered bankruptcy in 2020, so they did need to shake up their business model.

Looks like a (partial) backflip - Avianca re-introducing 787/widebody service with J on some short-haul routes.

I’d like to think that *A was pressuring them in the background to ‘shape up (maintain a premium capability), or ship out’.
