I was there all day Saturday and was impressed by the logistics, too (probably helps having a Gold Pass)! Everything ran pretty smoothly, but I was a bit disappointed that the Connie didn't fly that day (although I saw her a week earlier at Wings Over Illawarra) and was confused as to why the B1 didn't fly during the actual show, but I spotted it flying from the bus on the way back to Lara Station. Overall it was a good day, and I snapped your JetStar departure Ewing. ;) I will post the pictures later.

Two Tiger aircraft planes stopped the show for a while around the time the B1 was supposed to take off. I wondered if one or both was late and that mucked up the schedule. Very annoying, I had to leave at lunchtime on saturday.

I don't believe it had anything to do with that, as it was scheduled to take off and hold, then return for the display and fly off for a nav (according to the running sheet i had from the Media Centre). There was another reason why.

I was lucky that I saw it fly on the Thursday  Awesome power in those Engines.

For me watching Matt Hall's display was simply amazing and a real highlight. For those who want to see the coughpit view see here:
