Australian Reports of the Virus Spread

Sounds like a bit of a yawn fest so far if you believe the ‘leaks’

Well how wrong I was! Watching ATAGI getting rolled was the best movie of the year! Great news.

If Brisbane locks down tomorrow like many are suggesting, we’ll have 4 cities locked down at the same time.

I must have missed those rumours! Really?

So the sign says that the PM only ordered enough vaccine to vaccinate 4% of the population, 18 months into the pandemic. And the headline asks "Where's the lie?".

I ask - who's the cough moron? I think at last count we have ordered enough vaccines to do Australia's population at least 5 times over.

Federal government criticism. Yawn. (but really 🤣 for sheer dumbness).

And lets learn about 'Pedestrian TV'. Absolutely, like, cool, dude. Can't beat those spicy, spicy yarns. Does anyone over 12 who actually reads this [I tried a number of words here, but couldn't find any suitable - make it up yourself]? AKA yada yada yada AKA you know, 'stuff'. You know?

Ok calm down, it was just some humour to lighten the mood, sorry it upset you....And yes their audience is enormous and they have been advocating for vaccine access for young people which has been achieved. Which is good news for everyone including older people to help stop the virus spread.

A Sydney cafe has made international news for this hilariously true letter posted in their window, from the Sydney lockdown 😂

I think at a similar age as pedestrian.tv's huge audience of Gen Alphas, we watched Play School on the ABC.

It’s on the front page of courier mail, lead story on Nine Brisbane last night and was actually spoken about yesterday by Dr Young at the press conference that it’s a possibility.

Name calling is unacceptable.

If you cannot carry out a civilised discourse you have two options:

1. Use the 'ignore' feature.
2. Stop viewing the thread.

If you cannot carry out a civilised discourse the moderators also have an option:

1. Issue infractions that may limit your ability to use AFF.

I just am sitting here and in disbelief that WA has AGAIN postponed category 2 and 3 elective surgeries.
A friend of mine is almost certainly going to die rather sooner than need be, because even though 'priority one' (whatever that means), he was repeatedly fobbed off by both NSW and Vic hospitals, during the various border closures. And locally, the NSW is a supposedly a specialist cancer hospital.

I certainly think we've gone down the wrong.path. it will be interesting in a few years time, when they start writing the history books, how we are judged on our response.

Last nights announcement is at least trying to get back onto the highway :) It’s a start.

67,000 tests in NSW. Amazing effort. 19 cases, 17 linked.

At least case numbers have plateaued for last couple of days too!

The mystery cases are both in vicinity of Eastern Suburbs so hopefully will be linked soon.

12 cases however were active in the community while potentially infectious. 7 were in isolation.

And more cases from the infamous super spreader party with the ‘flexible’ guest list ;)

A couple of hospitality venues now have secondary spread outside the families that attended (Crossways plus the Italian joint).

And as predicted numerous time "NSW Health now says around 40 people attended the party, rather than 30 outlined in earlier advice."

The number of people who contracted COVID-19 at a West Hoxton birthday party has grown to 27, with seven more infections among their close contacts. Six party-goers who were fully vaccinated and one who was partially vaccinated have so far returned negative tests.

It was bloody obvious from the start, the hosts lied including about their interstate guests. Hope to see report of huge fines to all adult attendees.

I mean you have to laugh right.... 🤪

I would be inclined not to fine the fully vaccinated. I would also suspect that many turned up not expecting the limit to be exceeded. However the host family should cop the maximum fine as clearly they would have known.
