Australian Passport Fee Increases effective Jan 2013

Its only around $5 for most passports but if you have a renewal coming up it can be saved by doing it this month!

I picked up a couple of passports in Amsterdam last month, and at that time they told me if I'd waited a few weeks I would have got them a lot cheaper due to the price being reduced! Strange.

Edit: Maybe the O/S application price only was reduced?

I'm expecting a substantial fee increase in the May budget. Will probably renew with eight months of validity left during April.
