If QF SG , this can be useful when taking QF 37 out of MEL to SIN, head to QF J lounge, then when EK lounge opens for the later EK 405 flight, head up there. I don’t do this as I get to the airport late enough such that EK lounge is already open and go straight there, no need to go to QF J lounge.

I'm on QF37 later this week... and plan to do exactly this

Have a QF mid morning departure next month and not sure I'd bother visiting the EK lounge.

If I'm not mistaken the BNE EK lounge is only open in the afternoon/evening as EK don't have any morning departures.

Walked all the way down the terminal while flying through BNE last year only to find it closed!

Ah yes. The A380 is parked in BNE now until evening. QF lounge it is then.
