Latest update:Australians holding ordinary passports don’t need a visa for tourism or transit purposes if staying 90 days or less in a 180-day period.


For me, no more having to drag along my US passport to avoid paying for a visa! For everyone else, save $75-ish!!

I just wish it was reciprocal and my Turkish friends could come here for tourist visits.
 
About time! Most other comparable countries (UK, US, Canada, etc) have already been visa free for a while.
 
Great news...3 years ago I had to overnight in a hotel near Ist...had to pay visa fee for 2 people for just 1 night!

It is good news.

A few years ago, when arriving at DLM, I discovered that I had lost my British passport along the way, and had to rely on my Aussie passport to get me into Turkey. At a cost of EUR 50.
