Exactly the same sound when my phone went off with a Tsunami warning whilst sitting on the beach in Waikiki last year! And less shrill. How's everyone's hearing?
Apparently iPad iOS isn’t compatible (yet). iPhone 11 onwards and Watches.Went off on my phone but not my iPad. It was loud and shrill.
Interesting, because a politician (forget who) said that it would go off on tablets so I assumed that would include iPads.Apparently iPad iOS isn’t compatible (yet). iPhone 11 onwards and Watches.
Some cellular tablets are comparable but that link is silent on which ones!Interesting, because a politician (forget who) said that it would go off on tablets so I assumed that would include iPads.
It's a cell broadcast - by design it doesn't record who receives it, and as such AusCert cannot know who didn't receive it.Sounds like a few didn't receive it. And because it's considered just a 'test' then AusTest don't want to know when it failed to arrive. So not exactly a full scale test. I have iPhone 13 Pro and with Optus.
