ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

if the above is correct, and we can claim the GST + the company deduction of 25% ...
i feel sniip is still worthwhile?

I am planning to use sniip with Amex. For my circumstances it is a 48% tax deduction and my points earning rate is slightly higher then Platinum Amex.
I will try to be diligent like you daft009 and do the maths to determine how much it ends up costing me to fly in 1st to Europe return - I suspect with my tax deduction it will be circa $5k - a bargain.

While I don’t doubt the brains trust here, the Sniip website says 1.5% for Amex?

Source for the change to 2% please?

Was there an email notification, and the website is yet to be updated?

I'm at a 48% tax rate too, but I use Bluechain for ATO and payroll payments at a slightly better rate

The upside of Amex is that you can transfer to different partners, whereas you are suck for Visa Dragon. One positive on Visa Dragon is that it is fee free if you use Beem and make multiple transactions of <$2k

Anyone got pushback from Amex for toping up your amex card during billing cycle? I maxed out my amex regularly and they locked my card every time I top up before end of billing cycle. Quite contrary to the "unlimited reward points" moto as shown on their website.

I have to wait about three-four days for the payment to fully process, then it is good to go again.

this is what I used to do too.
then it got too annoying as it was happening more and more often (3-4x in one billing cycle)
so i changed to the charge card

What's the general consensus on paying BAS / ATO payments?

Is this it?
AMEX > Beem ($1k limit) > ATO

The above allows you get Amex points? And also have no payment surcharge fees?

Beem only uses Mastercard and visa. But yes, fee free.

Do you mean that Beam pays via Mastercard & Visa?
Or did you mean I cannot balance the Beam account using my AMEX?
