love it, its great.
no issues.

lets see what happens in ~4wks though (post D-Day)

I agree. It's worked great and @ferni has been really helpful and understanding with some issues (using a domestic card but through an international PayPal account).

After Deval-Day, the fee needs to drop to about 1.2% to compete with the dragon.

This would seem unlikely given PayPal's stared fees here : PayPal Merchant Fees: Invoice & Transaction Fees - PayPal Australia
And amex direct average around 1.58%

Interesting times...

We favoured Mrscove in paying the ATO this month as a family member booked Suites Class on SQ. Mrscove went close to miles expiry but has been “helped out” by her redemption nominees with her Kris Miles Account. This month was just the monthly BAS and Mrscove is rapidly approaching her first dragon birthday bonus.
My job is to keep the game running sweetly.

Given how Amex keeps harping on about how the deval will allow them to 'improve their merchant network', a reduction in the fees they charge might translate into lower surcharges for us.

Could be a fool's dream, but it'd be hilarious if it worked out.

Oh and @ferni's solution has been excellente for me so far.

hey folks, can anyone confirm whether HSBC qantas visa card earns points for ATO transactions,

got a friend asking me, and unless im mistaken anz frequent flyer black doesnt earn as it specifically says no ATO payments

I think HSBC bit the dust long ago.

Might be able to use it as a funding source with EBP up to the monthly points cap - surcharge is very similar to ATO direct at 0.8%.

Hi, I'm very late to the party on this one. Any chance @ferni or someone with info could PM me how it works?

I'm using a mix of ReaardPay and Easyshare at the moment, the latter being the only way I could find to pay into a USD account from an AUD card.
