Credit cards aren't available for BPay to ATO and unfortunately, very few card issuers now pay points for BPay. Did one the other night with Prestige for old times sake as a parting gift before they switch it off.

Keeping our nation running for a micro second does seem to be a waste of time.
Almost time to head off to London. Thank goodness there are SQ Suites.

I was going to share it round but thought stuff you ANZ, so smashed them on AMEX for $176k today. Another $60k tomorrow for Jan IAS should round it off before I cancel the card.

Last night I did get myself a new Visa card (subject to some paperwork) from an Australian bank. This one may prove to be a winner but it may take a couple of months to know if it is or not.
Let's think of this one as a work in progress.

Hi cove, did you try the doughnut (assuming I have guessed correctly)?

No I already have a WOWcc which the silver donut run in place of HSBC. This was a BWcc and I need to contact them to get a statement.
The silver donut have a card with a 40,000 sign on but we are fine without another cc at the moment.

Hi Cove I had a look at the BWcc and its saying that there are no points for ATO payments.I may be looking at the wrong card it's the More cc plat.

Wayne you made me look up the BW Platinum card which started for me in December. I am getting 0.75 points on everything I have paid on this card. The points will post 3 months after enrolment. Thanks for making me look this up as my first statement went to our physical address and not our PO Box. It did not arrive so I am now on E Statements.
I am hoping to get to World card in 2016 for 1:1.

Cove. always happy to help, I did take a look at the world card is this direct with Diners or via one of the banks I looked at the Citi offer and it seems to include points for ATO if so I may exchange my Citi black card for the world card, I will call them tomorrow. Have you looked at the partners ? For transfer of points, I could not find out if Kriss was one of them.

But does this earn on ATO Payments? I thought I read further up that it didn't?

From what I can tell, it does. Nothing in the T&Cs, and the Jetstar card which is also Macquarie does too. I haven't personally tested either or seen recent clear confirmation from anyone though.

Bankwest World is 1:1 but by invitation so you start with BW Platinum.
Westpac Black Amex cut the ATO earn to 0.75 miles per dollar so the cost is 1.933 cents before any tax deduction.
I use Westpac Kris Flyer Platinum Amex which is no longer issued to new applicants.

I can confirm the platinum Jetstar card is a goer. Annual points cap of only 100,000.
