ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

@Cove - how to use this cc to make payment via BPAY online? I am not able to do so. Any help is appreciated.

I agree on value proposition. But is there a change of getting more value in here (by saving surcharge)!
 
Appreciate your enthusiasm achinj, but the ato doesn't accept BPay payments by credit card. The only way to collect points is pay through the online portal and pay the surcharge.

edit : or by telephone.
 
Now that I have paid a chunk forward on my Black Altitude Westpac card I discussed with my wife whether I should ask the ATO for a refund and then use a different Westpac card that still works to double dip for the same BAS taxes. I know that would be a little warped and I don't really need the points/miles but thought getting the best out of Westpac and the ATO would be a beautiful touch.
 
With all the CC management and payments made this week and last, the only payment I doubled up on involved the Amex Edge so no nice bonuses with that slip up.
A weekend spent sailing up to Cabbage Tree Island and back will have to be my therapy.

I am in credit with the ATO as well. I decided to ask for a refund rather than waiting till next BAS is due. The money is better in my account rather than their account and of course I will therefore need to pay BAS again soon...

Lucky for me I just received an approva emaill this morning after applying on Friday!
 
Hi all. I am new. Today was the first time I have had 5 minutes to swap over my westpac black to the kris black for the specific pupose of ATO payments and I am furious that it has been withdrawn. I guess they had a run on it but I am sure once they realize why they will cut the points earn back on that too.
