Yesterday I had to pay the 15% additional surcharge on a superannuation contribution so that was probably the last $5,250 that needed to go to the ATO for that "tax". Unfortunately the anti detriment rules have now gone so it is goodbye to getting those 15% surcharges back at the end of ones life.
I used a 0.42% point per dollar card so at least it will assist in booking a business class domestic redemption ticket to the east coast in the future.
The superannuation rule changes are still just an announcement and not L-A-W as Paul Keating used to say.
Back in the mainstream taxes those fortnightly PAYG ones have started and there will be 26 of those to be done seeing our work PAYG is over $1 million.

I have put an application in and been conditionally approved. They have now requested supporting documents and statements for 3 years Income (Personal and Company) Statements from all Credit cards, Loans, Leases, Equipment Finance and Savings accounts. If I get the card I will report back on ATO

One of our partners is trying to get to yes with Qudos. The online application seemed to freeze on him so he called to make progress.

How is the application process for Qudos? Trying to decide if it's worth the hassle for something that will inevitably change, or just call it quits now.

Before Qudos I would have said, a person is crazy to love a CC. With Qudos, I share the same sentiment... absolutely love the card... am also thinking of moving my other banking over to them as well.

I love my Qudos CC.

How's the application process though? Pretty straight forward or overly onerous with the supporting docs requested?

My application was a challenge seeing I had so many credit cards and had paid many $50,000s to the ATO in the 3 month period Qudos were reviewing. Most folks would not have that issue of 150 pages of credit card transactions in those 3 months but I have work stuff and personal stuff going on CCs. Getting to YES was a lovely result.
Mrscove upgraded from BW Platinum to BW World with one single sheet so that was a breeze. As a result of that one page Mrscove now has a seven figure lead on me in QF FF points.
BW World has now varied the earn rate to 0.66 points per spend dollar since June 20th.
