Saturday 18 February has OZ601 from ICN to SYD arriving at 1018, 118 minutes late with B744 HL7418 the aircraft.

On Friday 7 April 2017, OZ601, the ICN - SYD redeye (A333 HL7795) is likely to arrive at 0826 hours, 46 late. As the returning OZ602 is scheduled to depart at 0915, expect it to be about 25 minutes late departing if all goes swimmingly.

Like competitor Korean Air, Asiana tends to be punctual in and out of Oz, but Thursday 11 May 2017 is an exception with OZ601, the overnight from ICN likely to complete its journey in SYD at about 0822, 42 minutes tardy. Aircraft is B772ER HL7597.

OZ retains a good timekeeping record to and from Australia but on Tuesday 20 June, the overnight ICN - SYD OZ601 (A333 HL8258) is arriving at a forecast 0848, 68 minutes late.

Asiana, like Korean Air and its Japanese competitors is rarely late but on Monday 10 July, OZ601 (the 2000 hours Sunday 9 July ICN - SYD that was in the sky at 2122) should arrive at 0833 hours, 53 minutes late. The 0915 hours OZ602 back from SYD to ICN may be able to depart at around the 0950 hours mark.

Asiana, like Korean Air and its Japanese competitors is rarely late but on Monday 10 July, OZ601 (the 2000 hours Sunday 9 July ICN - SYD that was in the sky at 2122) should arrive at 0833 hours, 53 minutes late.
We were on this flight...we left Icn late by 40 mins and arrived in Syd also 40 mins late....they told us it was due to a late connection whatever that means

The ICN - SYD overnight OZ601 (A333 HL7795) should arrive on Monday 17 July at about 0851, 71 minutes tardy as last night it was airborne from Seoul 94 minutes after scheduled departure time.

HL7795 is again on OZ601, the ICN - SYD redeye and like yesterday it is late, although the extent has become worse with arrival on Tuesday 18 July expected at 0945 hours, 125 minutes late.

OZ601 continues to be mostly on time or close to it but on Thursday 10 August, this ICN down to SYD redeye should arrive at 0631 hours, 51 late. HL8284 is the B772ER.

Saturday 16 December 2017 has OZ601, the overnight from ICN down to SYD (A380 HL7625) likely to arrive at 0911, 51 late.

On Christmas Day (evening) OZ601 (2000 hours ICN down to SYD) did not take off until 2322 with A380 HL7626. SYD arrival is likely at 1056 hours, 156 minutes behind schedule. OZ602, the 1020 hours SYD - ICN has nominally been put back to 1230 in its departure but this may be a tad optimistic: based on previous observations, 1240 is about the earliest realistic time for pushing back.

OZ602 (A380 HL7640, the 1020 hours morning SYD - ICN that was airborne at 1110) should arrive at roughly 1930, half an hour late.

HL7625 (A380) on the redeye OZ601, the Saturday 13 2000 hours ex ICN that took off at 2101 should pull into SYD on Sunday 14 January at about 0850 hours, half an hour behind.

It is unusual for OZ to be late on its flights into and out of SYD, but Tuesday 3 July 2018 is an exception with OZ701 (B772ER HL7739) likely to arrive at 1032 hours, 182 late as last night it took off from ICN at 2349 compared to its scheduled pushing back at 2000 hours. This was because OZ271 from SEA to ICN was more than four hours late, not arriving until 2157 hours.

Yesterday a different aircraft did not arrive in SYD until 1014 hours.

B772ER HL7721 on OZ601 (ex ICN Thursday 26 July) should arrive in SYD on Friday 27 at 0837 hours, 47 minutes behind schedule. The 0930 hours OZ602 returning back up to ICN will be delayed until at least 0955.

OZ continues to have good timekeeping on its Australian route but Saturday 18 August 2018 sees OZ602 (B772ER HL7739, the 1000 hours SYD - ICN) having taken off at 1107 with predicted arrival at 2033, 93 late.

OZ601, the 2100 hours Sunday 18 November ICN down to SYD (A380 HL7625) took off at 2130, only about five-10 minutes late, but on Monday 19 arrival is estimated as 0856, 36 late. Fortunately the return flight is not timetabled to depart SYD until 1055 so it should be punctual. This again shows, where feasible and slots are available, the good practice that allowing a greater than minimum turnaround is.

On Saturday 29 June, earlier fog in Sydney sees delays continuing well into mid morning. OZ602, the 0930 hours SYD - ICN (B772ER HL7700) took off at 1018 with arrival expected as 1931 hours, 31 late.
