Oz is normally punctual in and out of SYD but that is not the case today, with OZ602 (operated by A333 HL8259), the 0930 hours flight taking off at 1152 on Monday 17 August 2015 and hence not due into ICN until about 2100 in lieu of the usual 1900 hours.

Unusually, OZ601, the 2010 redeye on Thursday 5 November from ICN to SYD is running late this morning and will soon be in the Harbour City at 0930, 70 minutes late. A333 HL7795 is the opearing aircraft. As OZ602 is due out of SYD at 1010 this morning for ICN, it will be late. It may also have an AFFer on board as this flight also has a QF codeshare flight number.

OZ601, the 0820 arrival in SYD on Monday 9 November ex ICN is badly late with aircraft A330 HL8258 about to be at the SYD terminal just before 1000 when it was scheduled in at 0820. The return to Seoul will be late.

OZ601 is an expected 40 minutes late into SYD on Monday 28 December at 0900 hours.

On Tuesday 29 December, OZ601 (A333 HL7794) is expected to arrive SYD at about 0945 instead of 0820. It is unusual for this flight to be late two days in a row. The 1010 hours OZ602 back to ICN will be delayed until about 1055 at a minimum.

OZ601 into SYD on Tuesday 12 January is an anticipated 45 minutes late, arriving at 0905.

Once again OZ601 (13 January SYD arrival ex ICN) is late: today it was 43 minutes (0903) - eerily similar to yesterday.

OZ601 (A333 HL7795) on Monday 18 January is again late, being expected into SYD at about 0900, 40 minutes late. OZ602 is not due out of SYD back to ICN until 1010 so it should only be marginally late upon departure, fingers crossed.

The Sunday OZ602 on 14 February took off at 1153 against its timetabled pushback of 1010 so with A333 HL8258 doing the honours, it is expected to arrive in ICN ex SYD at about 2005 tonight, 75 minutes late.

OZ601 on Friday 19 February arrived in SYD 45 minutes late at 0905. Aircraft is A333 HL7794. This will delay the return back to ICN.

OZ601 into SYD on Monday 22 February (A333 HL7795) is about 85 minutes late, arriving at roughly 0945. It took off last night at 2131, 81 minutes after its 2010 pushback time.

This will delay OZ602 back to ICN.

UPDATE: OZ602 is about to take off from SYD at about 1118 with a forecast 45 minute late arrival in ICN at 1935.

On Friday 8 April 2016, OZ602 (A333 HL8258) was airborne from SYD only at 1028 despite a departure time of 0930 hours: it should arrive about 45 minutes late at 1945 this evening in highly rated ICN.

The Sunday 22 May 2016 OZ602 departed SYD at 1104, 94 minutes late, with ICN arrival forecast for 2025 hours this evening, 85 minutes behind.

OZ continues to have good timekeeping most days but Monday 7 November is an exception with B772ER HL7756 on OZ601, the 2000 hours Sunday 6 ICN - SYD having been airborne at 2153. Monday arrival is forecast to be 0929, 69 minutes late, delaying the returning flight from its scheduled 1020 pushback to a suggested 1050.

Like its Korean competitor KE, OZ does not seem to run late into or out of Oz very often but Thursday 22 December 2016 is an exception with OZ601, the overnight from ICN to SYD (B773ER HL7700) not expected to arrive until 51 minutes late at 0911 hours.
