Very good article and very good initiative by the crew to inform pax to eat beforehand.
 
Thanks for the heads up Matt! Am flying J to Palau in Oct, and back in Y. Given checkin closes early in Palau, my best bet I guess is to get a breakfast box from the hotel as you ae leaving or will need to buy some food to bring onboard!
 
I complained about the food on APW-BNE in Y and was given 10K points as compensation, no questions asked. It was pretty bad though, just a snack bag and the white wine was warm.

I think they could do better. I stayed at the Sheraton just near the airport and they had a lot of facilities, I can’t see why QF couldn’t contract them to make sandwiches or something.
