This offer came through this morning: Fly to Europe, get 50% more Status Credits.
A week to book and four months to fly (from yesterday until 18 Nov 2019).

Are they attempting to lure me in before there are more lucrative offers coming down the line, like sales or better SC offers? Or could this the best they'll offer as part of their (potential) new tailored campaigning? Have you gotten anything similar these days?

I still have a GV from a previous offer (DSC on int'l Saver & Flex fares from mid-April, travel until March 2020) so may give this latest one a pass.

I was searching for a few international flights and the same offer came through a few days into the search (subject line was personalised to the destination, but the email content and landing page offer was not).

Agree that targeted will become the new norm...

--- Here's the offer ---

There's never been a better time to book with Qantas. For a limited time, you'll be rewarded with 50% more Status Credits on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.*

You can enjoy this offer on an unlimited number of flights booked in the next 7 days so it's a great way to help get your Status Credits balance soaring.

Simply register and make a new booking between 15 July 2019 and 21 July 2019 for travel from 15 July 2019 to 12 November 2019. And don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking.

Around the World sale, but only for domestic flights?! Well it is a big country :)

The sale kicked off with domestic yesterday, it's South Africa and South America starting today and others for the next 6 days...

Anyone getting the impression that QF’s forward bookings are not what they could be?

I received a 50% SC offer for flights to the US a few months ago as the past 2 years I had booked flights to the US.

Staying home this year.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

A 50% SC offer is nice but I'd need a DSC offer that covers flights several months into the future to seriously consider a trip I'm thinking about.

Offers can also come after you've made a booking to see if you'll make another booking.

August last year was when that big DSC offer was made, so perhaps after the financial year ends, they decide what deals to offer to get the cashflow pumping.

I got a similar 50% SC bonus offer in the past week, for flights to Canada, booked in the next few days, but only travel from now until mid-November.

I have been searching for flights to Canada, but I want to go in early December ... I suspected targetted based on my searching in my browsers and the tracker QF inserted into my earrings last time I was in the FLounge. ;) :p

The targeted 50% SC bonus seems to be the 'flavour of the month'. I received one on Tuesday for flights to VLI. Not just a coincidence IMHO as I had been searching potential round trip flights to Vanuatu over the last 2 weeks. Not that a 50% SC bonus on a discount Y fare will rocket me to WP.
