Woohoo! Very pleased to join the club of those who have received their sign-up Aquire points.
This is particularly exciting to me because (I am a nerd) these are, or will be once I txfr them, my very first Qantas points. As a relatively recent transplant, I have my shiny new Qantas frequent flyer account to fill with points.

Just to clarify from what I've been reading here: I've see the points from my 27-Oct Staples purchase (anyone need a roll of tape?) but have not yet seen the bonus points. Should I be waiting patiently or is it now time to contact someone?

I spoke to someone yesterday about a flights issue and asked about bonus points. They said wait patiently. 6-8 weeks.

I think we should run a book...I'm in for 23 Dec

My plan is to transfer the 10,000 bonus Aquire points to my son's yet-to-be-created QFF account, and score him an extra 10,000 QFF points.

Since he'll need to join by 31/12/14, and "earn" 10,000 points by 31/3/15 to score the bonus, the cynic in me says....

Put me down for 1/4/15.

Better read the fine print. Family transfers usually don't count as 'earning'.

A transfer from Aquire direct to the account would not be a Family transfer. Love those family companies :)
Familiy member or not, a transfer from Aquire does not count as activity:
'Active Member' at a point in time, means a Member who has earned or redeemed Qantas Points or Status Credits (excluding any transfer of Points to or from an Eligible Family Member and excluding any conversion of Points from Aquire) on their Membership Account within the previous consecutive 18 whole month period from that point in time;

Thats for the purposes of being an active member, the 10K bonus is for points earned which only excludes family transfers, not specifically Aquire earn in the promotions T&Cs
This offer applies only to Qantas Points earned by the member and excludes points received via Family Transfer.

Aquire transfers show up as earn activity on my account, so they would meet the rules as it stands.

so if I transfer 10,000 points do these have to remain in the account until 31/3/15 or does the activity of receiving them count regardless if they have been on transferred to a family member prior to the 31/3/15?

Should be able to transfer them out pretty much instantly, although personally I would leave it for a day or so.

Anyone had any joy with Regus? I have chased them twice and still no contact and no points. While it is very convenient for Qantas to disown responsibility for their 'partners' reporting points - do they understand the bad heart it creates - especially as an 'introduction' to a new program?

I am surprised Red Roo has not offered any comment.

I might have used Aquire as Qantas had intended (rather than racking up intro bonus points and spilling them out - no problem with those making the most of the system) - but now I feel like just abandoning the whole concept.

Overall - Qantas is generally good on execution ie doing what they say. We will always fond some thing to whinge on but this seems to debase their FF program credibility all over. The non crediting restaurants all over again.

I've received my points now from my Secure Parking in October.

Lucky_man's post reminds me that I need to chase my Regus sign-up bonus points again too.

When I completed the survey they sent out last week, I made lots of comments about needing to do a better job of getting their partners to post points and not take the "wash my hands" stance so quickly.

I signed up to Regus immediately on joining Aquire, but recall (perhaps) reading I needed to use the membership at least once (it comes with free uses) for the points to credit. Have you used the service? I have not and haven't received the points, though could very easily go use an office space for an hour.

Same question as above? :)
