Went to my local today. Signed up for the cheapest locker (about 1m x 1m) for $55/month. There is a $16.50 cleaning fee, too. You require 14 days notice to cancel for this policy.
On the application form I filled out, there was a space for ABN. That was all entered into the computer and when the guy printed out the final contract, there was a space for ACN which was empty (no entry for ABN anywhere on the printed form). He then checked on the computer and the number was definitely in the ABN section but what he did was manually add in my ABN in the space for ACN and print a new copy.

So for $71.50, 10k Aquire points doesn't seem too bad a deal (when they post). It may be less with any GST concessions that may apply.

In a similar vein to the existing thread, Aquire is now offering new customers to Storage King a 10k joining bonus, and existing customers a 5k yearly bonus (presumably repeating).



While not quite as lucrative as a Staples purchase of $1, today I decided to rent a locker for a month, received a second month free and hope to not have any dramas* in 45 days claiming the points. Unfortunately, this set me back $70 with the smallest locker being $60 and a cleaning fee of $10 automatically tacked on. Still, I don't personally see this as bad value as it's more points than I'd make on a flight to SYD.

By my estimates, I'm due 10,210 points on the 6th March 2015.

What option are you all being offered? I called up today (Essendon - Melbourne) and the cheapest storage I got offered was for $170 WTF!!!

i simply went online and looked for the cheapest storage fee being offered and went in and signed up. Mind you it wasn't next door but I am in Adelaide and we can easily transverse the city

You would have to go in personally and tell them your life story eg show driver's licence and sign their paperwork

I just got off the phone to Aquire, they told me that the 45 days has indeed passed for me to receive my points. The next step for me is to contact the main Storage King office on 1800 100 700, as the individual franchisees don't handle the points. Additionally, it was mentioned I had 90 days from purchase to get this sorted, so with 45 gone I've already got less days remaining than have passed.

I'll keep the thread updated on my progress, and by the way, the promotion is still open!

You only need to pay for a full month, but you need to wait 45 days for the points to appear, and I'd wait that long before giving them a call.

Supposedly they're meant to notify Aquire after 30 days, and Aquire can easily post points within 15, but it never seems to happen the way it's meant to, does it

Nearly every operator I talked to today tried to pass the buck. Eventually someone promised to look into it for me and took my details, but if this is what it's like to deal with them for bonus points, I wouldn't want to stick with them for any longer... another case of over promising and under delivering. I may not be their ideal customer, but they're sure to lose me this way

Traversed the city and enquiring at individual sites to find the cheapest location ?
