No travel for me rest of month. Sustained grade 2+ calf tear playing volleyball and been advised to not fly for remainder of month due to bruising and increased chance of DVT. A bit peeved as it now decreases my chances of getting to PG.
I have decided to look out for J specials for rest of status period now/ I wish QF would offer special one person rates for J or even F for WP member whilst premium bookings are low

23 APR DJ 168 No lounge, not even aircon at airport! Fridge in gift shop gets turned on when store opens so no cold beer till in the air.

simongr, unfortunately for our meeting, I had a surprising early finish and made it out to the airport by 3.15pm. Got a seat (50C) on the 4.05pm BNE service but decided that the QP Service Desk could better that for me. 5K points later, 2A was in my posession and a quick trip to the Business Lounge (to check it out) was in order before I boarded. Next time...

The Rocks, Sydney - lunch, 26 April 2009
Very late notice (sorry) but a couple of people want to meet up at The Rocks tomorrow 26 April, so I figure the more the merrier if you happen to be nearby.
There's this thread on FT:
Best to send me an e-mail or PM on FT, but I think they are meeting at 12:30PM at Cadman's Cottage.
Hopefully it will be settled that we end up at the Glenmore Hotel's rooftop.

(Because this pub sells normal food rather than native animals, there may be a call to go elsewhere so that we can eat a roo or croc!)
