APIS not going through

Me and my partner are US citizens. I'm trying to complete the APIS on Qantas. I type everything, press submit and it goes through. However, when I go back to the manage booking page, it says I need to complete APIS- additional information needed. I've been doing this for a week. When I click into it again, everything is complete. The only thing is that I didn't include my partner's middle name in the booking, but it's on his passport. There's no way to edit the name to add the middle name under apis and Qantas doesn't require it for flying, so not sure if this is the issue. Is this a website glitch? Would calling them and letting them do it manually work better?
