ANZ Platinum, 50k bonus QFF points after $1500 spend, no annual fee first year

Mine apppeared overnight (qualifying spend made on 29.9.14) but not +1 (qualifying spend also made on 29.9.14).

...and +1's 50K pts have now also appeared

I think I'm going to keep my Black card...it is the only Amex I have left now that will pay 1.5 pts per $ spent with the ATO ....for now!

SWMBO called to cancel the basic card a couple of days ago. Today they called her and offered her a $55 credit to keep the card open for 3 months. She reduced the card limit down to $1k. No catches. She is free to cancel in 3 months time. Naturally she accepted $55 for free

Technically, 4 months by the Ts and Cs...having said that, ours were made on 29.9.14 and we have just seen them in our ANZ account as "pending"...yours must be just around the corner

My 50k just swept across, after getting the card in late July and completing the spend in early August.

Please tell me WE HAVEN'T FAILED in the minimum transaction spend...

Opened (basic) on Sept 11th, with our only spend of $613.46 (We must have over looked it!)....

I don't really wish to go through 116 previous pages for the exact rules...

Do we still have time to spend exactly $886.54c ? So we reach the $1,500 minimum spend within 4 months or so?

I hopefully expect that YES we still have time, BUT I would rather ask now then spend for no bonus!

Cancel that! Just looked in our file, officially opened late aug...

We missed out

But on the good side, my 50k has been transferred, and the platinum should occur soon (spend way more then needed!).

50k pushed to QFF for me a few days ago, approx 2.5 months after hitting spend criteria.

Mrs Excel has points in her ANZ account which will push at end of statement period, bang on 4 months.

Both Basic. Appears there's no method to the madness, but I'm not complaining.

Resistance broken...applled for the basic card for +1, approved immediately. ..another 50K, making it 100K all up. ...ok haven't got them yet

Mission accomplished:mrgreen:....100K in bank. May end up keeping ANZ Black as mentioned previously. Need to negotiate the $425 annual fee though....
Just noted the sign up up promo is now (only) 25K pts and first year free.

First account had the $1500 spend completed within 2 months, the second within three months.
Now I'm thinking I should have applied for the Black!

There is certainly no pattern to this, my first 2 lots came in 2 x 2500 bundles a month apart and 1 month after the spend. My second 50k just arrived, 4 months to the day after the spend and I'm still waiting on the last 50k. So 150k in the bank, certainly can't complain.

50k in. Are people cancelling the black card? $425 on annual fee seems quite a bit.
