Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Finally saw 50,000 QFF points for my Black card in the account today. Hopefully it would get transferred to my QFF account towards the end of next week (the end of statement cycle period).

Approved in late August and reached my spending threshold in mid September so the bonus points came after three months reaching the qualified spend.

Approved mid August, $1500 spend qualified 31 Aug. 4th statement next week.....here's hoping, otherwise will see them early jan. Don't need the pts just want to see them :)

EDIT1: 06Dec14 --- 50k points have posted to ANZ online, and swept same day to QFF on statement issue!
EDIT2: They are actually appearing in both ANZ and QFF (233k total now :)) at the same time.
EDIT3: I will be keeping the card until at least month 11, its a good earner only using Amex @ 1.5pts/$ spent

And about time, too!!! :p

Don't forget to allow enough time from the day you cancel to get all your points into QF.

I'd like to know id anyone has cancelled say 3 months in advance, accepted any offerings and then cancelled after the offerings appear in their QF account??

This would probably be the first confirmation that each card can get the bonus! Hope the 50k for my basic comes soon, the 50k from black is sitting in the account summary but have not sweep over yet.

50k in the basic this morning. Been checking daily, quite surprised it turn up on a Sunday morning. Approved late August. Completed qualifying spend mid September. Very happy with 2 lots of 50k (Black and Basic). Regretted did not apply for the platinum.
Still using the Black frequently and planning to keep it. 1.5points/$1 is the best earn for places that accept AMEX. I use the Qantas Ultimate Amex for restaurant and travel (3 points/$1 and 2points/$1 respectively), and for anywhere that don't take AMEX, Citibank Signature 1point/$1.

Mine are there now too. I honestly don't know why people have been whinging about the time to get the points. They have followed exactly what they said they would.

Mine apppeared overnight (qualifying spend made on 29.9.14) but not +1 (qualifying spend also made on 29.9.14). I think I'm going to keep my Black card...it is the only Amex I have left now that will pay 1.5 pts per $ spent with the ATO ....for now!

Yes, for now. Banking reform report being released today. Looks like it will put a very limited cap on credit card merchant fee. This will be great for limiting the surcharges we are hit with, but places like the ATO may not be happy/legally able to absorb the fee.

ATO only charge ~0.5% for Visa/MC which is the sort of limit being discussed; I predict they will stop accepting Amex if they are unable to exceed that.

Will be nice to see the airlines brought in line particularly. Amazing how long it has taken the RBA to move on this considering they were responsible for the problem in the first place.

Second lot of 50,000 have posted - this time for the basic card. Previously for the Black card.

Yep that's me, hand in the air, I made a mistake, happy to admit this one (but still waiting for my 2nd and 3rd lot)

No one's moving on anything yet I thought - it's just a report at this stage as far as I'm aware...
