Hoping someone can help with this - a friend from New Jersey in the U.S. had a family member who was killed while serving on the USS Perry when it was sunk by Japanese bombers when Darwin was attacked in WWII. One of the ship's five inch guns was raised and placed in a park in Darwin along with a plaque listing the names of all of the crew members killed. He had photos of the park, gun and a close up shot of the memorial plaque, however he lost all of them when his computer crashed recently. He has a family reunion coming up in two weeks time and would dearly love to have photos of the park, gun and the memorial plaque showing the names of those killed to show at the reunion.
Is there anyone on here that might be able to help my friend out?
