smaller than expected crowd at Zeta last night.
Did meet Randy from FT however.

u/f had to leave half way through the videos.

With the weather thats just rolled into Sydney dont think there will be a harbour flyover on departure either

Apparently large hailstones are headed into SYD this afternoon. The A380 might get hail damaged!

Pretty big storm passing through at the moment - lots of lightning.... great Spring weather. Wedding anniversary tomorrow - it was 24 degrees and blue sky when it was my wedding - thank god it wasnt like it is now.

Just looked out the Window and there's patches of blue in the sky so I think the worst has passed.

Well it should be taking off about now - any reports?? Did have a look at the video bite, now to wrok out who is the AFF'er....;)

Indeed we did have a good time! I was travelling with Ian on the flight and there are no words that can sum up the experience. We had a BALL! It was truely AMAZING. Think of a buzzing pub at 33,000 feet for seven hours, the only difference was that instead of beer, we were drinking French champagne! I think I sat in my seat for a total of one hour! Managed to get a number of saftey cards (crew was expecting them to go anyway..!!), a few menus and other great "First to fly" stuff (eg, a number of packets of playing cards). Will be doing a trip report with some great pics and videos in the coming week or two on SQ380.net. Mark.

I/we look forward to the feedback.
You could also post the report here as well.

Great pics - thanks for sharing! :D
Must have been fun to meet those celebrities.

I must be missing something obvious - but what's with the copy of Who?

The copy of Who - each issue they have a photo of a reader that has sent a pic in from somewhere "exotic" (the first flight of the A380 is definately exotic in my opinion!!), and the reader gets $50!! Its an easy fifty bucks, as I don't think they are gonna knock back a pic of their mag on the A380. I submitted the pic of myself at the door, rather than in front of the publicity board in front of the airport... I paid $2500 for two seats, and I figure that with the $50, that would make it $2450!!!!
