Has anyone been here before? Anyone that has been, please tell me your thoughts.

A quick Google makes it look like a perfect place to take a beautiful woman. Alas that is not the reason I'm going.

I went there in March. Weather was beautiful. It is a very nice place but it's not as amazing as the photos and video make out.

Like any destination it's mostly what you make of it.

Oven though I dislike rum

Was there a few years back on my way to college from Anguila.

It is a little busier than some of the surrounding islands so if you want the real "island" feel then maybe take a puddle jumper to a different island.

In all I like that part of the world though be aware that it really is full of Americans and Dutch. I would be very happy for a long layover/ a few nights here. The water is warm and the beer is cold.

As an aside - what is your fare route?

For me... Barbados is where its at. The prettiest island. St Juan is also nice and St Maarten
My friend got robbed in St Kitts.

I booked mine a couple of months ago and we depart from LAX which tied in perfectly with our holiday plans.
+1 is NOT looking forward to all that travel but I know he will thank me when it's over
8 sectors over 4 days.

I've heard its good value hiring a taxi for half a day to tour the island - we may as well make the most of our stay!!!
