I have to book J MEL/PER in the next few days and am wondering whether it is worth getting the double status credit deal from Virgin or wait until Qantas announce the new incentives they have been talking about in the press. Has anyone heard anything?

Nothing as yet, waiting in anticipation that QF will announce something this week *fingers crossed*

May depends on how their numbers are looking. Perhaps they'll piggy-back any announcement to the Platinum One launch next week? Maybe AJ thinks last weeks' email will have shored up booking numbers.
