A friend is flying to USA end May. Any of those - 'sign up a new member and we give you both a few 1000 miles' deals around?

I know this is an old thread, but I have 4 invitations that will get the new member 3000 miles and me 250 for the referral plus 1000 miles if the new member flies on United before Dec 31 I think.

Please PM me, if I get 4 people, that will put me over the top for a 20k Pacific Island award.

Hi Tiki, I really considered the offer, but as I'm unlikely to fly UA before the end of the year there should be others who will; thereby giving you max benefit.

If you don't get four who are prepared to fly UA, I'm happy to assist by simply joining, so you at least get the 500. :D

Thanks Serfty, I really appreciate that! I don't know anyone who is likely to fly on United. I'm going to try my other frequent flier online group (the ones who have feathers ;) ), but they tend to be stay home types too.

I only get 250 per person unless you meant you and your wife? I guess if I don't find anyone flying I can add my elderly parents on (who never go anywhere) to get 1000 miles. Then I need to scrounge another 2500 somewhere for my hubby, I need 1500 but I figured I would buy flowers on the ftd.com link for their anniversary to push me over the top.

I wish there was some way we could do the Netflix deal but only US residents and my parents are too old to deal with it.

It's just so frustrating they don't have any Ozzie partners!

serfty is hardly a stay at home type ;) Rather a committed OW flyer and thus unlikely to fly UA.

I do fly UA (sometimes) - and did so just 2 days ago. However this time was award so no help to you.

Hi Kiwi, good to see you flew UA a few days ago. I flew them yesterday LAX-SEA-NRT-SIN (where I'm currently sitting in the SATS lounge waiting for a Swiss flight to BKK).

You're not in SIN as well are you?

Not this week - so I can't help you into SQ F lounge this time.
