So was booked for our annual trip to cairns in June but unfortunately just before easter i was rushed to hospital with a bleed on my brain. I have had the surgery now and all seems to be healing but i have been told by the doctors not to fly for at least 12 months.
As my tickets were only red deal / sale fares i completely understand that i am not entitled to a refund only a voucher minus the cancel fees.
Has anyone managed to get a refund from Qantas under "extenuating circumstances"? I cant even find an email address to contact them on. I have tried facebook (no reply) so was hoping RedRoo might see this.
