Another AFF BAM trip [Dec. 5th]

All, just a heads up looking at another BAM trip for a Christmas drink. Possibly a friday or saturday early December departing from and back to Sydney Central with dinner stop. (2pm depart and 10pm return)

Need to see what's happening closer to time.

It's been longer than I would've liked.

Plan which has been requested.
Saturday Dec 5, Depart Sydney Terminal 1.30pm.
Afternoon run to Gosford where we will reverse direction and head back and stable at Hawkesbury River Station for around 3 hours for dinner, it is directly opposite the Anglers Rest pub and a couple of small eateries.
Return to Sydney Terminal around 10.30pm.

I have spoken to the owner of 5917 who is making the locomotive available as a personal favour for the Sydney to Gosford part of the trip. (fire bans could mean a substitute)

The BAMs will be moved up from Goulburn empty early that morning, if anyone from the area or Canberra want to ride up shouldn't be a problem, following the trip the cars will return to Goulburn so should also be ok to ride back, it will be a long day for those people. I will probably get on and off in Bowral both directions (where I live) others welcome to use Bowral if convenient.

As usual, I will come around on the day for a cash donation for a worthy Christmas cause such as Vinnies.

As you know, I'm quite keen to come down again for a day trip, I've enjoyed every trip I've been on and the AFF community is so very lucky to have this chance once again!

Matt owns a couple of train carriages 'BAM1748' and hosts an annual trip from Sydney central station. Usually there is a nominal donation to a charity. I highly recommend this trip. Google BAM1748 and plenty of carriage photos will appear.
