Interesting.....as can book AA.

Was thinking of getting the Plat Charge back....and so that would 5% more reasons to as a small sweetener. ie move 400K ish and that would be 20K more if I upgrade to Plat Charge again.

So time to look more thoroughly at this program for Partner Awards as it's own redemptions are expensive.

Anone know how long points last in this program?

The AA is interesting - not sure if I am reading it correctly but the points to redeem between Australia and North America seem to be quite low (not quite sure what the taxes would be)...

I just went into my account..did a dummy redemption, but no mention of the bonus.

Where was this mentioned?

Thank you.

Just checked again, and cannot see this on any of my screens unfortunately.

What amex Cards do you have. I current have Plat Reserve and Plat Edge.

Yes it just seems to use the standard AA rates, which is the interesting part.

Thanks on the expiry.

So I've just done a transfer from Amex MR to EY, and I got the message about 15% bonus - but guess what? The miles have been credited to my EY guest account without any bonus. So it will now be another round of being pushed from pillar to post between Amex and EY's call centres I suspect. Not happy!

Seems I may have been a bit harsh - the 15% bonus miles were there this morning, before I got a chance to call up about it! I didn't expect the base miles and bonus miles to be processed as two separate transactions, but there you go!
