Amex Promo - Discounted Points redemption for Card Credit

Received a mailing from Amex. Not sure how targetted this was, or whether everyone got one. Might be of interest to some as it isn't listed on the Amex website or advertised any other way I can see.

Basically they are having a "sale" for redeeming points for CC Credit.

$100 Credit - 12500 points (save 2500) - Code 6828-5128
$250 Credit - 31200 points (Save 5300) - Code 6829-5129
$500 Credit - 60000 points (save 9000) - Code 6830-5130
$1000 Credit - 117000 points (save 13000) - Code 6831-5131

Promo runs until 28 April only.

While they value the points at less than a cent (much less than a Qantas FF point), it still might be value for some people.

I got the mailing too. I took the $250 option since I'm unlikely to redeem any points in the near future.
